Working With Us:

What to Expect

What We Do

In the simplest terms, imagine you pick up a building and shake it. Everything that falls out is 'furnishings'. Everything that stays in place is 'finishes'. Making sure that both are detailed, cohesive and placed in the right location is 'project management'. All of this is interior design and we're proud to succeed at all three, whether it's a new build or a renovation.

Finishes

A mosaic tile design is artwork. A stone countertop is a one-of-a-kind natural landscape. Wood flooring acts as a grounding element to a room. A railing design can express the fluidity of movement. We work with our clients to make sure their foundation of materials and selections paints the picture of what they want to experience in their surroundings. We ensure that the finish selections maintain a strong link with furnishings as well as the architecture of the space as they all connect together.

Furnishings

Whether our client prefers all new furnishings, re-use existing heirloom pieces, re-purpose a favorite console with a new lacquer finish or source a focal antique gem for a room, we work with prestigious vendors and craftsmen / craftswomen to complete the room. We'll even find just the right spot for that 'favorite chair'. Not only do we work in tandem with the interior finish selections process to establish continuity within the project, we work directly with the architect to connect the dots, resulting in seamless design.

Project+Management.jpg

Project Management

Logistics. Schedules. Procurement. Keeping an eye on things. This is what we mean by project management. We are here to help keep things moving at the project site and behind the scenes. The last thing we want to do is to keep anyone waiting, whether it's a contractor, a vendor or our client. We take a hands-on approach to make sure site discoveries and questions are solved quickly, purchase orders are organized and clients are kept in the loop. There are plenty of moving parts during the design process and we're here to keep information organized so that the project can move forward at a smooth and timely pace. We're here to get the job done.
